• Communication Data: Messages, support requests, or feedback you submit through the Service.

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage Data: Features accessed, screens viewed, error logs, and performance diagnostics.
• Push Notification Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for delivering notifications.

1.3 Permissions We Request

• Internet Access: Required to communicate with our servers for all core functionality.
• Notifications: To send you alerts about new assessments, tasks, attendance updates, and announcements.
• Camera & Storage (optional): For uploading student photos or document attachments, only with your explicit grant.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the ShuleSoft school management platform.
• To authenticate users and manage access based on roles (teacher, administrator, etc.).
• To store and synchronize academic records, attendance, assessments, and timetables.

• Within Your Institution: Data entered by teachers (student records, marks, attendance) is accessible to authorized staff at the same institution based on role permissions set by the school administrator.
• Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, push notification services). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kassowary Technologies, our users, or others.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Bearer token authentication for all API requests.
• Secure session management with token expiry and refresh mechanisms.
• Access controls limiting data visibility to authorized personnel only.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Academic records (student marks, attendance, reports) are retained according to institutional policies set by your school.

6. Children's Privacy

ShuleSoft is a tool used by teachers and school administrators to manage student information. Student data is entered by authorized school staff and is governed by the school's own data protection policies. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child's data has been collected without proper authorization, please contact us immediately.

7. Third-Party Services

ShuleSoft uses the following third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Firebase: For push notifications (FCM) and app diagnostics (Crashlytics). Google Privacy Policy
